Lizzay :
I currently use LimeWire and am getting frustrated because I can’t find bands on it such as: Red Car Wire, The Fashion, Black Kids, British Sea Power… Does anyone know of a better program that would have more of the music that I am looking for? If so please go ahead and let me me know! ![]()
(And for all of those who will tell me to just by the CD’s a lot of them you can’t buy like (Sigur Ros from Iceland) or I don’t have the money for…and yes I have a job and can’t spend all my money on CD’s or I would)
illegal is fine by me… So don’t worry about that.

If you can’t afford to buy music, then you’ll just have to go without. That’s life.
Emusic is a great website to download Indie music (I even found a couple of the bands you mentioned). However, their site is not free. You pay a monthly fee to download a certain number of songs.
My small town music shop had Sigur Ros CD’s in stock – Just because the artist is Icelandic it doesn’t mean it not available worldwide
Pay for your music or get frustrated!
You can find some Sigur Ros cd’s at various bookstores. I’ve bought two albums from either Borders or Barnes & Noble. For free mp3s from alternative bands I like to use the music blog aggregator:
There are many music blogs that post free mp3’s of various artists and elbo.ws is the best place – in my opinion – to find lesser known alternative bands.
i love Red Car Wire.. you can use ares.. but if you cant find RCW on there.. which i doubt it i have most of their songs i can just like try to upload them for u if u wnt
